DLC for Wet Broaching

Coating thickness: 1,5 µm
Hardness: Above 2500 HV
Coefficient of friction against steel 100Cr6: <0,15
Advantages: Less wear , higher productivity due to increased cutting speed, nearly no influence on the cutting edge,
AlTin for Dry Broaching
Structure: Mono
Coating thickness: 2 – 7 µm
Hardness: 3400 HV
Advantages: Especially suited for machining applications involving hard-to-cut materials, very smooth surface, superior hardness, high facture toughness, inert chemistry, low coefficient of friction (0,4 against steel)
DLC for Dry Broaching
Structure: Multi
Coating thickness: 3 µm
Hardness: Above 3000 HV
Advantages: Less wear , higher productivity due to increased cutting speed, low coefficient of friction (<0,15 against steel)
