Spline Plugs

Varieties of spline plugs & gauges

Spline Gages are available as either Ring Gages or Plug Gages and Go and No-Go. These gages will check the effective and actual tooth thickness. Tapered tooth master plugs with fit and wear lines are used to monitor the wear of ring gauges during component manufacture. The ring gauge is ground to fit the master plug for original and subsequent ring gauges.

Gear gauges are good and reject gauges
